By using DailyDrop, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
DailyDrop is a news aggregator app. It displays headlines, summaries, and links to articles published by third-party news outlets (such as BBC, TechCrunch, Al Jazeera, and others). DailyDrop does not write or claim ownership of the news content itself — it links out to the original publishers for the full story.
Signing in is optional and uses Google Sign-In. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You can stop using your account with DailyDrop at any time by signing out or revoking access from your Google account settings.
You can delete your saved articles, settings and stored preferences at any time using "Delete my data" in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and where.
You agree not to:
News headlines, images, and summaries shown in the app are provided through NewsData.io, a licensed third-party news API, under terms that permit this kind of commercial use. DailyDrop always displays the original publisher's name alongside every article and links back to the original article on the publisher's own website — this attribution is a required part of how that content is licensed to us, not an optional courtesy. DailyDrop is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or opinions expressed in third-party articles; full articles are read on the original publisher's own website, not inside DailyDrop. Because of how the underlying news data is delivered, some articles may reflect a delay of up to several hours behind when they were first published, rather than being instantaneous.
DailyDrop is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Ads help keep the app free to use. Ads appear as a banner and as sponsored cards between news stories, and are always labeled as ads. Ad content comes from advertisers through Google, and DailyDrop is not responsible for it. Whether an ad appears depends on availability, so you may sometimes see none. Please do not click ads artificially or encourage others to; this can get ad serving suspended.
DailyDrop is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or that news feeds will always be up to date — feeds depend on third-party publishers and services outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DailyDrop's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
